30s French Work Black Moleskin Jacket "Le Travailleur"

Black moleskin jacket from the 1930s.

Moleskin was adopted as workwear in France. "Mole" means mole in English, and moleskin means mole fur.

The thick cotton threads are brushed on both sides of the fabric, creating a durable cotton material that is smooth and glossy like suede.

Many people may not be familiar with the name, but it is actually a brand that represents the dawn of French workwear and has supported the lives of workers for a long time. Founded in 1895, it is considered to be the oldest French workwear brand still in existence.

This jacket is a must-have for those who like the collar, rounded collar, small V-pocket, embroidered tag and moleskin. Some of the wood buttons have been replaced and the back has been repaired. There are no problems with wearing it. The fabric has a new shine and is in good condition, although it is not deadstock.
