30s FRENCH WORK LINEN PANTS

HISTORY

Made in France in the 1930s. In an era when military demand and labor overlapped, "white linen workwear" (Treillis Blanc) was used in all kinds of places, including the army, navy, railways, and factories. High waistband, button placement designed to accommodate a suspender band. These pants are rare and unique to the pre-mass production era. They give you a sense of the depth of the word "workwear."

DETAIL

The material used is plain weave linen canvas. Repeated washing makes it softer, while still retaining the flowing texture that is characteristic of old linen. The waist is made of a 10cm wide belt, and the top has an old-fashioned design with a three-button front and six suspender buttons. These three buttons are designed to accommodate the high waist construction and the use of a suspender band, and are designed to increase the fit and stability of the placket. The front is buttoned and concealed. Although the buttons vary in design, they all remain what appear to be bone buttons from that time. The back is fitted with a cinch back engraved with "PARIS", allowing you to fine-tune the fit around your waist. The silhouette is wide and tapered, with room around the waist and thighs, and a naturally tapered hem. Combined with the breathable linen material, this is a very comfortable piece even in the middle of summer.

CONDITION

There are some light rust stains scattered all over the item, but they are barely noticeable when worn. There are no noticeable tears or major damage to the fabric, and it is in good condition and can be worn without any problems.
