40s French Work Cotton Twill Jacket "Adolphe Lafont"

A 1940s cotton twill jacket made by Adolphe Lafon.

This is a tasteful piece with a color that has changed over time from a deep ink blue to a pale blue, and darning repairs can be seen in many places, likely made by the original owner.

The details unique to old items such as V pockets and embroidered tags are also attractive. While moleskin is a classic favorite, the light texture of cotton twill makes it useful as a light outerwear for early spring.
