These blue moleskin pants are believed to date back to the 1940s and are made by VULCAIN, a long-established workwear brand based in Lyon, France.
Although it is real workwear made for the craftsmen and laborers of the time, it is a piece that still has a timeless look today.

Moleskin was adopted as workwear in France. "Mole" means mole in English, and moleskin means mole fur.

The thick cotton threads are brushed on both sides of the fabric, creating a durable cotton material that is smooth and glossy like suede. This product uses light-weight moleskin.

"VULCAIN" is a long-established French workwear brand based in Lyon, known for making clothes with excellent durability. The brand mainly supplies workers' wear in France, and has produced many products that combine quality and practicality.

These are the moleskin pants that go with the jacket. They have a large yellow embroidered tag and a loose, wide silhouette.

The condition is deadstock, but there are traces of a repaired tear on the back waist and some light stains due to storage.

This size is equivalent to size L. At the time, most people were petite, so larger sizes were produced in small numbers and are therefore rare.
