40s German Air force Luftwaffe Sheepskin Mouton Kanal Jacket

This is a pilot jacket worn by the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) during World War II. This jacket was only used for a limited period between 1943 and 1945 and is now a very rare vintage item.

The Luftwaffe refers to the German Air Force, which was established under the Nazi regime in 1935. It was disbanded after the defeat in 1945, but this jacket was a special jacket issued to pilots who were designed to fight at super-high altitudes in aerial combat at the time.

The material used is supple lambskin mouton, which is very soft, sheds very little, and has excellent heat retention. It is available in three colors: black, blue, and white-gray. This particular item is white-gray, which is a rare color, and uses the original RIRI zipper. It is very light to wear and feels like a modern down jacket.
