These are Belgian Army Ball & Moon camo overpants from 1953.
Ball Moon Camo is a pair of overpants featuring a camouflage pattern characterized by rounded shapes. This pattern originated from the one first used by the British Army during World War II. Later, the Belgian Army designed these pants based on that pattern. While brush camo was generally used for a long period of time, these pants were only used for a short period from the early to mid-1950s. For this reason, there are only a few pants in circulation.
These pants are designed to be worn over pants, but when you tighten the waist they can be worn as wide pants with a loose silhouette.
These pants come in two types, early and late. The differences are the weight of the fabric, whether or not there are buttons on the rise and waist, and the button fly. This is the early type, made of a densely woven plain cotton material. Compared to the late type, it is characterized by a softer fabric and lighter weight. If you are looking for comfort, lightness, and the ability to wear them all year round, we definitely recommend the early type.
These pants will be a staple in the upcoming hot summer season. We recommend pairing them with leather sandals and a nice shirt.
There are some repairs and fraying, but it is in good condition. Furthermore, size 3 for Japanese people is a rare size. If you are looking for one, this is your chance.
