This is a wool herringbone jacket made in France in the 1950s.

It is a very simple design with only one inner pocket and no lining, but it has a small collar. This herringbone jacket has a French feel to it, with the sleeves flared forward. It is woven from various wool yarns in blue and gray. The fluffy herringbone fabric is simple yet has a very expressive texture.
