70s French Air Force Pilot Leather Jacket Original

HISTORY

This sheepskin leather jacket has been used by French Air Force pilots (PN = Personnel Navigant) since the 1970s. To provide both warmth at high altitudes and mobility during maneuvers, it features practical and functional details such as a double zipper, an orange rescue vest, and a utility pocket on the left sleeve.
It was replaced by a synthetic successor model in the mid-1990s, and is no longer in service as an issue item. However, due to its high level of perfection, it remains a symbol of the French Air Force and is known throughout France as a masterpiece. CONDITION
